I am thrilled to have been interviewed by Lackgindon’s Magazine follwing the publication of my first short story in Issue 19 of their magazine on the theme of Voyages.
My story takes place on a train and describes a meeting between strangers and includes a mysterious cat.

Haiku
of moments not things
caught in nets of gossamer;
sweetness not possessed
Haiku
then her stained fingers
brown as rotted fruit touch me
deep into my brain
Dear readers and followers,
Today marked my 400th post on this blog. I would like to thank all of you that have read even one of them, and those who have returned for more. With gratitude, I salute you and look forward to the next 400
Cheers

Haiku
Pain aims at me, points
feckless, foams at the mouth, creates
focus, sharper, now
I think the colour of my eyes
has changed. Look at me
Face to face with the open air
They’ve moved from cloudy to blue
They’ve transitioned from woman to girlish
They’ve settled to clear from guarded
Hazel reflected stillness, purpose, simplicity, dotted with lambs and lushness
In the space of just a season on the farm
Under the same sun. My face is open
to the air, which is fair, I think
I’ve changed my vision.

Night bird flies the wind
So dark, tossed against the sky
Sounds snatched from its throat
