curl of surf and me

white
noise of falling
water
my shudder’s raw
free
wheeling birds
sea spray

watches, looses delicate earth
where hearts lay buried
hears the silky sound

i’m watching the hills
i’ve magic in my pocket
i let it fly out

post 1001…poetic!
Dearest readers,
according to WordPress, this missal marks my 1000th post. Wow! I’m impressed and yet it seems like only yesterday that I started sending my scribbling out into the world for you.
I love the writing of haiku, the distillation of something that feels essential, the capture of a thoughtful moment. NaPoWriMo, the reason for which I started the blog, inspires the writing of longer poems, exploring forms and themes I wouldn’t have thought of alone. I love this community and the challenge of the month of April.
I’m abundantly grateful for each and every one of your views and likes and hope that we will continue to show up for these little daily moments of plenitude and gratitude of creative energy.
I’m in if you’re in!
Here’s the next 1000
Blessèd be
btw

P.s feel free to post a comment on this. I’d love your feedback. xxx
